Washington, DC – January 2026

Bitarchitects proudly announces the graduation of 10 emerging architects and interior designers from the 9th Edition of its Architecture & Interior Design Internship Program, marking a significant milestone in the firm’s ongoing commitment to cultivating global design talent and professional excellence.

Launched in Fall 2025, the highly competitive program attracted over 600 applicants from more than 20 countries, including the United States, Lebanon, Egypt, Nigeria, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, Argentina, India, and the United Kingdom. Following a rigorous multi-phase selection process comprising three interview rounds and a final design competition, 18 exceptional candidates were selected to join the cohort.

As the program progressed, 14 interns remained actively engaged, with 10 successfully completing the full program and graduating after demonstrating consistent growth, commitment, and design excellence. Throughout the internship, participants worked closely with Bitarchitects’ professional team, contributing to real-world architectural and interior design projects while gaining hands-on experience in design development, technical documentation, visualization, and collaborative project coordination.

Interns were fully immersed in the studio’s workflow, participating in design reviews, mentoring sessions, and collaborative discussions that emphasized innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Reflecting on their experience, graduates shared the impact of the program on their professional development. “This internship elevated my understanding of real life architecture, and strengthened my technical precision,” said Adham Shendy from Egypt. Another graduate described the experience as transformative, noting, “This has been a defining chapter in my career,” said Hafsa Taimoor from Pakistan. Highlighting the collaborative studio environment, one intern added, “It has been a wonderful experience working with a team that values both creativity and quality of work,” said Salma Kholief from Egypt.

The successful completion of the 9th Edition reaffirms Bitarchitects’ dedication to providing meaningful, practice-driven learning experiences that bridge academic knowledge with professional application. The graduating interns brought fresh perspectives and strong technical capabilities that enriched the firm’s creative culture and reinforced the program’s mission to help shape the next generation of design leaders.

Bitarchitects extends its sincere appreciation to all applicants, mentors, and team members who contributed to the success of this edition and looks forward to welcoming future cohorts as the internship program continues to evolve and expand.
