Washington, DC – June 20, 2025 – On Friday, June 20th, Bitarchitects leadership, headed by founder and managing partner Ms. Bitar, along with two of the firm’s esteemed advisors, Colonel O’Neill and Colonel Littig, had the privilege of meeting with the Architect of the Capitol, His Excellency Mr. Thomas Austin, at the Capitol Hill office.
The meeting offered a deep and inspiring look into the multifaceted mission of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), an institution responsible for overseeing the maintenance, preservation, and enhancement of some of the nation’s most iconic buildings. From daily operations to long-term visionary planning, the AOC plays a vital role in ensuring these national treasures remain both historically intact and functionally relevant for future generations.
Bitarchitects team expressed particular interest in supporting ongoing conversations around historic preservation, strategic upgrades, and the integration of modern technologies within legacy structures.
