Residence 1PSN
When our client approached us with the goal of legalizing an existing basement unit as an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), Bitarchitects stepped in to provide the necessary documentation and permitting support. The 781-square-foot basement is already configured as an independent residence, complete with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living area.
Our team was tasked with capturing the current layout and preparing architectural plans suitable for permit submission. The unit includes both front and rear entrances, offering private access points, and is fully finished with existing utilities and interior finishes in place.
To support the client’s efforts to bring the property up to code, we documented the as-built conditions in detail, highlighting all rooms, entry points, and utility placements, while ensuring the plans reflect all ADU-related code requirements for submission to the local permitting authority
