Town-house 1VAR

Bitarchitects presents the Dual Dwelling Transformation, a project encompassing the extensive renovation of a classic row house. This renovation transformed the structure into two distinct units, preserving the traditional architectural character while adapting it for modern living.

The original structure, consisting of a basement and two floors, was fully renovated and repurposed. The basement was converted into a standalone unit, and an additional floor was added to create a second independent living space above the existing two floors.

Bitarchitects provided a comprehensive suite of architectural services, including design, planning, and execution. Serving as the project’s single point of contact, our team managed all facets of the renovation, including architectural, geotechnical, structural, and MEP engineering, ensuring seamless coordination and integration throughout the process.

A primary objective was to harmonize the traditional aesthetics of row house architecture with contemporary design elements, maintaining functionality and visual appeal. Bitarchitects achieved this by incorporating modern features such as clean lines, open layouts, and innovative materials, while respecting the original architectural style.

The Dual Dwelling Transformation stands as a testament to Bitarchitects’ dedication to excellence and innovation in architecture. By seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary architectural styles, the project provides modern living spaces that cater to the needs of today’s homeowners.
