Bitarchitects is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Site Inspector based in the Washington, DC metro area. This per project, on-call opportunity is perfect for someone interested in hands-on construction site experience and learning about inspection processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled site visits to capture clear photos and 3D scans of work in progress.
• Observe construction activities to help identify discrepancies or safety concerns.
• Upload and organize images, notes, and documents into shared project folders.
• Provide visual updates and site findings to engineers and project managers.
• Support basic administrative tasks such as printing plans, scanning, and organizing files.
• Maintain clear communication of field observations with the project team.
• Location:
• Project sites are located throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV region).

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in construction management, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in construction, field inspections, or a related area.
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic familiarity with construction safety principles is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Work Schedule: Per Project, On-call, assignments based on project requirements.
