Soliman Remodel & Addition

The 1136 Neal St project stands as a testament to the seamless integration of industrial charm and contemporary elegance. Prompted by the homeowners’ affinity for both industrial aesthetics and modern design, the project aimed to preserve the historic charm of the townhouse while infusing it with carefully balanced modern elements.

Bitarchitects faced the challenge of transforming the property into a neighborhood landmark, navigating the integration of a new addition with the original structure. Through a meticulous study of design elements and the application of innovative construction and design techniques, the team achieved a remarkable transition that redefined the townhouse as a local landmark.

The captivating contemporary splendor of the back elevation was designed with a purpose. The incorporation of a glass door and deck aimed to blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, facilitating a seamless flow of natural light and fresh air. This not only added a touch of luxury but also heightened the overall sense of space and openness.

A notable feature of the project was the creation of a separate unit in the basement, balancing functionality and profitability while ensuring a luxurious living space. The Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) was meticulously designed to maximize functionality, catering to the trend of additional income, and maintaining a stylish and comfortable living space with a focus on luxury and attention to detail.

The project’s tagline, “Your Home, Your Legacy, Crafted by Bitarchitects,” encapsulates its essence. The aim is to reflect homeowners’ dreams and exhibit a commitment to innovative design. For future homeowners, the project represents the realization of their dream home as a tangible reality. Within the architectural community, the hope is to inspire creativity and collaboration by seamlessly blending historical context with contemporary vision.
