THE TERRY BITAR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Story of Inspiration
In her youth, Terry Bitar, Founder and Managing Partner of Bitarchitects, faced financial challenges after her father’s passing but received invaluable scholarships that enabled her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. After graduating with honors, Bitar proceeded to earn a master’s degree in sustainable development, fulfilling her dreams by establishing Bitarchitects, an architectural studio in Lebanon. After miraculously surviving the Beirut blast, Bitar relocated to Washington DC to further her aspirations, establishing an even larger office called Bitarchitects, which focuses on both architecture and engineering, with a focus on commercial and residential projects. With a diverse team of 14 professionals, Bitar is driven by gratitude and happiness, extending a helping hand to promising students to ensure they have the same opportunities she once did, while spreading positive vibes all around.
