Washington, DC – October 6, 2025 Following the successful launch of the 8th Edition this summer, Bitarchitects is proud to launch the 9th Edition of its Architecture and Interior Design Internship Program for Fall 2025. This highly competitive program continues to select top emerging talent through a rigorous multi-phase process. The selection included 89 candidates in the first round of interviews, 32 candidates in the second technical interview, and 27 candidates in the third round. In the final competition phase, 23 finalists were challenged to design a pop-up exhibition space for Bitarchitects. From this group, 18 exceptional interns were ultimately selected.
The competition tested the interns’ creativity, technical skills, and design problem-solving under real-world constraints. Participants were tasked with designing an innovative exhibition space to showcase Bitarchitects latest architectural projects. The space had to incorporate five stations, two frames, two interactive screens, and one virtual reality station, within three modular cargo containers, arranged vertically or horizontally in any configuration. Essential program elements included an entrance point, a bar area, a bathroom, an experiential exhibition space, and a staircase, with opportunities to create openings, windows, and doors to optimize circulation and experience.
Selected interns will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with seasoned professionals, and contribute to innovative projects, further positioning Bitarchitects internship as a launchpad for the next generation of global design leaders.
