MEP ENGINEERING
The integration of (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems is crucial for a building’s functionality and efficiency, encompassing the design, layout, and installation, ensuring they align with the architectural plans and comply with safety codes.
- Mechanical Development: Includes the provision of load calculations to determine the necessary cooling/heating capacities, a ventilation calculation table, specifications for duct sizes and air distribution flow, an AC unit schedule, diffuser/grilles schedules, a control sequence for the AC unit, detailed information, and Comcheck calculations for the new mechanical AC unit to ensure compliance with energy codes and standards.
- Electrical Development: Encompasses the provision of a lighting floor plan with circuit numbers, a power floor plan with circuit numbers, a panel schedule, a power riser diagram, and grounding details. Additionally, Comcheck calculations will be conducted to ensure compliance with lighting standards.
- Plumbing Development: Covers the provision of load calculations to determine the actual incoming water service, a water heater schedule, a sanitary riser diagram, a water riser diagram, and, if applicable, a gas riser diagram. Additionally, a water meter sizing worksheet will be provided to ensure accurate sizing for the plumbing system.
- Energy Development: Providing numbers to the online energy verification sheet form, if needed.
